Master Technician
Current- Responsible for evaluating problematic equipment and determine if an item can be repaired/refurbished and what it will take to make the item like new again. - Be familiar with professional grade production equipment: digital and analog audio consoles, digital and analog amplifiers, loudspeakers, subwoofers, outboard processing, wireless microphones and IEM, intelligent lighting fixtures, lighting consoles, conventional lighting fixtures, video processing, video switching, video matrix, broadcast camera bodies, broadcast lenses, video multiplexers, projectors, LED panels and processing, scalers, scopes, media servers, IT/networking infrastructure, servers, access points, advanced computer and terminal access/troubleshooting - Be familiar and knowledgeable with component level electronics, and be able to troubleshoot and repair necessary components via a schematic or block diagram- Ability to solder surface level electronic components- Terminate/assemble various cables, adapters, and components
