CurrentFull financial responsibility for organization’s transportation movement requests and shipment of 45B of civilian and military equipment resulting in 100% compliance, safety, and timeliness. • Oversaw quality control for 13B in third party contracts-ensured contract compliance. • Negotiated contracts worth approximately 3M third party vendors for equipment usage, restock and the supply of consumable goods as well as ongoing maintenance of contracted materials. • Program manager-cutting labor costs by $76,000. • Implemented and evaluated all supply chain logistics activities and procedures, to include production planning, material procurement, inventory control, vendor selection research, contract drafting/negotiations and material distribution. • Consulted with CEO’s and explained policies and best practices and how implementation would take place, instilling confidence and providing necessary data on cargo’s location, stowage, and loading. • Responsible for over 12,000 pieces of Department of Defense Cargo, ensuring cargo was within all regulatory standards, to include HAZMAT intake paperwork was correct, staged and loaded in line-haul, vessel, and rail. • Oversaw all aspects of Operations efforts including: all routine staff schedules and reports are accurately developed and submitted on time and the special project taskers were delegated to correct key staff members, progresses were tracked, and suspense timelines were met. • Stayed abreast of regulations, trends, and events which influenced cross-functioning teams. This resulted in higher levels of preparedness of the deploying units and minimized frustrated cargo. • Ensured all contracted employees were conducting operations within the Performance Work Statement, proficiently and safely. • Maintained situational awareness of simultaneous missions while being the key element in planning efforts for over 12 Battalion size elements with worldwide destinations.
