Finally where I belong. After taking a plant tour and meeting the people who make up the core of Welch Packaging I decided to take the plunge and drive the hour and ten minutes everyday to be a part of something greater. Many places claim that their employees are family, but Scott Welch lives it. Everything we do here is for our associates. When the economy turned the corner, my former boss found out I was waiting tables and called to offer a job out of the blue. I took it and the rest is history. Still something was missing.
