I'm Joey, a third-year student at DigiPen currently studying for my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Digital Art and Animation.I have a passion for illustration and designing characters in 2D, subsequently bringing them to life in 3D. Having worked as an art teacher for 3 years and counting while studying, I love teaching others about the fundamentals of art as much as I do learning about it. I am also proficient in painting software such as Clip studio paint, and photoshop. Furthermore, my training in DigiPen has helped me expand my knowledge of 3d software such as Maya and Zbrush. Learning quickly from others, I always challenge myself to learn more, even regardings things that I haven't tried before.Ever since I was a kid, I've admired game artists and the worlds they created out of seemingly nothing. I've always felt that I could never reach them, till I made my very first board game from scratch. I remember kids playing my game, laughing while playing, and telling me that they had fun. That was the first spark that led me on my path today.In the future, I would love to work with a team who are both passionate and dedicated about what they do. I will strive to learn and work efficiently in order to produce the best quality of work for my team.
