My main goal in this position is to know every employee gets home safe to their loved ones each and every day! Responsibilities include Accident Investigation, OSHA monthly safety trainings, site compliance, drug screenings, LT-LD claims, safety programs compliance, writing SOPs & JHAs, SDS compliance, leading Safety Committee, safety program audits, workers comp, behavior based safety, etc.Turkey Hill Dairy - At my time at THD I took on many responsibilities. Starting out as a general machine handler, I quickly trained to become a Hazmat Incident Responder and a Emergency Medical Responder. Fast, critical thinking, core subject and consistent trainings were exercised daily in these roles. Later becoming a Department Trainer, I guided employees through machine operations, safety procedures as well as trained/certified employees on all PITs within the operations of their job scope. Confined Space, Fall Protection Trainer were also amongst some of my daily core jobs. Interviewing/hiring employees with 3-phase hiring process as needed. Conducted RCA(Root Cause Analysis) groups, Accident Investigations and Hazard Anaylsis programs.
