With the merger I was able to adapt to a new environment, accept a supporting role and learn new equipment under a intense timeline. I operate the Ross Overdrive, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop. I do various live broadcast and newcasts. Here I'm still looking to fulfill my full potential from past experiences. Aside from my duties, I pride myself for being one of the first directors who was to directed all the newscasts from both station. I also pride myself for my attendence record.

Due to a restructuring situation I opted to willing resign to allow a senior director who was being demoted to keep his long time job at WAVE. I gained experience directing a faster pace newscast. I directed the 1991 Kentucky Derby Festival Parade, a live event that also was rebroadcast nationally in syndication. I also directed a variety of live remote brodcasts from sports to political debates

Seeking more "hands on experience" I was recruited for a position within the Cosmos Broadcasting Corp's station, KPLC-TV. While there I switched and directed the "Highest Rated Newscast in the Nation". I implemented an updated graphics and visual style for the news. I also directed a wide variety of live remote broadcasts. I was promoted to the position of Operations Supervisor. My duties included scheduling and evaluating the staff. I conducted interviews and worked with payroll.

Hired as a Floor Manager (entry level). Progressed and was promoted to Assistant Director, a position created especially for me. I was then promoted to Director, one of the station's first "home grown" director. I directed a highly rated, first place newscast, public affairs, promotion and commercials. I won a ADDY award and assisted in a production that won a regional Emmy. I directed live sports such as Bowling Green Men's Basketball, University of Toledo Men's Baskteball and professional wrestling shows, and coach's shows.
