Running alone can really suck. Uploading your 5k time for your network to see doesn't always cut it, sometimes you need someone out there with you.I co-founded BuddyUp to address this problem and help anyone to find their perfect running Buddy- someone they not only can keep up with in the parks, but also get along with and grab a post-run coffee with.As a former personal trainer and qualified physiotherapist, i've seen first hand how in person interaction can really boost exercise adherence or, put another way, make training fun. Ultimately, funner workouts, means more workouts get done, which makes for a healthier and happier world and that's the vision that keeps me working hard to make BuddyUp as great as it can be.So far we've:- Participated in an incubator with Activate Studios- Discovered a technical Co-Founder who is now our CTO- Built and released an MVP iOS app in just 8 weeks- Over 1200 downloads in the first month- Secured a working relationship with Favoured marketing agency to ensure strong visibility of user journey through our marketing funnel- Multiple app updates released since launch with new featuresStill to come:- Test user appetite for premium features by using micro-transactions- Secure seed funding to further grow the app and market penetration across the UK
