Various design projects in conjunction with Southwest Community Education.

Each summer, I planned and led classes of 10-20 kids while collaborating with peers to create a fun, engaging and safe environment. Additionally, I worked with a small administrative team to communicate with parents and guardians to organize the weekly schedules of over 1000 children, as well as manage a database of registration, scheduling and payment forms for over 6000 entries.

Ordered, managed and distributed class supplies for Southwest Community Education's summer youth programming. Additionally, created curriculum for new and existing classes, and supported a team of 75 teachers in engaging with youth.

Responsible for developing graphics for a new smart eating app and website, as well as content for weekly social media posts and video-casts. Work alongside a team of interns to create visual content and provide input toward the direction of the program as well as social media outreach.

I worked with faculty in the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry to create infographics that helped explore the impact of learning through social media.

Seward Montessori School

I collaborated with teachers and students to find successful strategies for reading education, resulting in higher reading levels. I worked closely with a small group of 8 children with a variety of reading skill levels to find the best strategies to increase reading skill. I assisted with each child’s individual journal entries increasing cognition and vocabulary, and administered reading tests once every month to track improvement in reading level.
