The Cyber and Analytics Board of Advisors provides critical input to strengthen and broaden the college’s cyber and analytics research, education and service programs. The board also provides a venue for idea and information exchange among key stakeholders.Members participate in strategic planning, provide subject matter expertise, assist with fundraising efforts, facilitate networking, champion the program externally and facilitate mentorship experiences.

As the CTO for CTP, Joey is responsible for the creation of methods and technology standards for accelerating clients' adoption of public cloud. Through competitive analysis, offering development and project delivery, Joey enables the CTP organization to bring advanced public cloud capabilities to clients across financial services, agriculture, transportation, healthcare and federal.Joey works across the HPE organization to ensure advanced capabilities are available to accelerate public cloud adoption.Additionally, Joey is responsible for leading CTP's delivery capabilities supporting federal clients. • Managed the Pay Lynx’s operations team, including system administration staff, batch operations staff and customer support staff.• Responsible for the Enterprise Architecture program spanning systems, networking, security, and monitoring. Responsible for ensuring that all SLAs are met and appropriate reporting tools are in place to assist sales teams, executive management teams and customer support teams.Coordinate IT staff activities to manage existing data centers, bring on new data centers and to bring new customers online as efficiently as possible.

• System Architect focused on UNIX infrastructure planning, implementation and management. Disaster Recovery planning and implementation for government and private customers.• Consultant to Sandia National Laboratory’s Enterprise UNIX team.• Responsible for design, performance tuning and implementation of Oracle database and middleware services.• Developed plans for data management as part of the Disaster Recovery team, developed system build and management standards for the UNIX teams, and worked to migrate the Oracle on HP-UX environment to a more scalable and reliable Oracle RAC on Linux environment.

• System Engineer focused on HA and HPCC System Architecture. Project Management, customer presentations, SME for HPCC and Cisco technologies.• I managed the deployment and supervised the first year of support for Thunderbird, a 4480 node cluster at Sandia National Laboratories. This system is the largest Infiniband-based cluster ever deployed and was ranked 5th in the world at the time of deployment.• Worked on many teams to respond to customer RFPs ranging in size from less then $1 million, to well above $250 million. I provided both technical writing and technical architecture assistance to these teams.• Subject Matter Expert for Network Security and High Performance Computing for the Advanced Systems Group at Dell. Provided guidance to peers on system architecture, best practices, and implementation planning.• Architected and implemented multiple Linux clusters for Brookhaven National Laboratory. These systems ranged from 32 nodes to 788 nodes. As part of these implementations I wrote the necessary management tools and trained staff on systems management.• Architected and implemented a virtualized software development environment for a government customer that provided over 100 virtual development environments, utilizing one tenth of the hardware that was previously in place.

• Architected, developed and put into production an integrated monitoring solution to track system and network level intrusions, patch deployment and status, system uptime and service availability. This tool set covered over 75 UNIX and Windows based servers, and over 300 network devices.• Administration of the largest WAN in the state of New Mexico with over 300 end-points.
