Initiative and Project Executive, with over 50 years in technology innovations, beginning in the US Navy where he performed analysis of intelligence and security operations. His banking technology career began at Boatman’s Bank in St. Louis and through a series of career advancement moves, John gained national recognition while at Brenton Banks in Iowa by developing the first ATM switch and implementing POS for a grocery chain, which at that time in the early 1970's had not yet been implemented by the largest banks who followed his protocol. While John was at Texas Commerce managing enterprise architecture, the bank was acquired by JPMChase and his responsibilities broadened to serve JPMChase on the retail architecture team. His excellence in managing projects was quickly recognized and led to his representation of JPMChase at FSTC where John helped move projects to create best practices and new industry-wide standards. He co-authored the FSTC PACES documentation and served as project director for multiple FSTC projects including Image Quality & Usability. His knowledge of banking business and technology has lead to service in other industry organizations.
