Brought in as a web developer working on the two main eCommerce websites the company ran. Throughout the 12 years of being there, I took ownership of the internal CRM system, producing new features that were requested by employees and new solutions our team believed the company would benefit from. I lead a number of integration projects that enabled the company to sell products externally and manage sales within internal systems by developing scripts using RESTful APIs to manage orders and returns between ChannelUnity (for eBay and Amazon), Secret Sales, Fruugo and Love The Sales, as well as creating code to import and export data to Sage (originally Sage 50 then updated to Sage 200).

I was part of a close team which maintained and developed many websites in PHP, ASP and ASP.NET (VB.NET).

I was brought on within this company as an administrator assistant as part of my one year placement with university. I helped with office duties such as filing and binding and more importantly helped created several Access databases for external clients, which included Blackburn and Darwen Council and North Wiltshire, Kennet and West Wiltshire District Councils.

I gave general administrative support to the other employees as well as handling telephone calls and ordering office stock. My main responsibilities included the creation of in-house databases for several clients, proving to be more cost effective for the company than outsourcing the work, as had been done in the past.

My main role was to serve customers on the tills and also help people with customer service related issues. I regularly had to order stock from the main warehouse and other stores and helped customers with sales questions.

Trained on EPOS (tills) and till-lifts. I served customers and handled cash throughout the day. I was responsible for ordering stock from both other stores around the UK and the head warehouse. I trained on customer services and helped customers with their queries, both in the store and on the phone.

I worked here whilst at college and university. My role was to serve customers with food and drink items, bake products, prepare the daily sandwiches and undertake stock control.

Trained on EPOS (tills), Bake-Off (ovens) and Sandwiches. My main responsibilities included general retail and stock control duties.
