Implementing a platform abstraction layer providing a consistent API over all platforms where the Skype client is running, including Windows Desktop, Windows Phone, Mac, iPhone, Android, Linux, Blackberry and several others.This abstraction layer implements threading, synchronization primitives, atomics, networking, and many other functions, providing a common API across all platforms.Most of the work is done in C++, but also touching x86/ARM assembly, C, Java, Objective-C.Improving debuggability of the skype client, providing tools for investigating problems that cannot be reproduced in the lab, and for collecting statistics about bugs in public clients.

Worked on the Ericsson IPTV solution, as architect for the client part. My work involved writing the JavaScript client running on all types of devices (STB, phone, desktop, ...), HTTP traffic and caching strategies, proxies, and Java EE endpoints providing JSON data to clients.I also touched briefly on media streaming, Java EE middleware, and embedded C/C++ on STBs.Worked on the Ericsson Network Resource Gateway, connecting various telephony networks and publishing a single Parlay/ParlayX API for applications.I worked on the SIP communication, mostly developed in C++.
