My career started in the surgical device arena when I joined the Ethicon division of Johnson and Johnson in April 1991. In 2000 I joined the Endo division and took on the regional sales manager position for Namibia, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, KZN, Garden Route and Port Elizabeth.I was responsible for developing and growing the business portfolio of Vascular Access, Sterrad, Energy devices, Stapling, Endo, Cidex and Cidex Opa products.In 2004 I joined Legacy Medical to develop the Endo Portfolio in Cape Town, the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth. From 2011 I took on the position of Commercial Director. In 2018 Legacy Medical was absorbed into the new Vertice MedTech Pty Ltd Group.Throughout my career I strive to successfully achieve both the company's and my own targets by identifying needs and predicting future trends. I pride myself on my ability to maximise resources whilst utilising the skills of team members to deliver organic growth and deliver return on investments. Transitioning from concept to contact, ensuring contributions are performed timeously.I manage to bring new tech to the market and have compiled and submitted successful Discovery Health Technology Assessment submissions. Products for which reimbursement was secured include Capsule Endoscopy, RF Low Power Energy Devices, and a fully automated system that can produce autologous Fibrin or Platelet Rich Fibrin from the patient’s own blood. My aim is to deliver 'best in class’ performances across my areas of responsibility and to develop and grow teams in order to achieve this goal. Building and developing Strategic long-lasting relationships with networks in key strategic surgical sectors has equipped me to make informed decisions. It has enabled me to deliver value propositions that meet and exceed the needs of both internal constituents and external customers.I welcome product opportunities in order to develop and grow the Surgery Portfolio in Vertice MedTech.
