Responsible for leading the Mechanical Engineering Department within Illovo Technical Services, providing a specialist discipline advice to operational entities and senior management with regards to operational matters, feasibility studies, cost estimates, project documentation, project implementation, equipment selection, and ensure compliance with the Group Standards.Responsible for developing, maintaining and enforcing an appropriate set of mechanical engineering standards. Review of capital requests and advise on feasibility and technical robustness. Review operational risk in all factories for insurance requirements and sustainability of major assets.
