I am a PhD in Business analytics that study how to use Big Data and Machine Learning algorithms to improve organizational decision-making. What is of interest to me is not only algorithmic complexity, but identifying the analytical approach that leads to the best decisions. I am interested in decision-making that reduces operational costs or otherwise improves operational efficiency. However, I believe that using data analytics to create value for stakeholders across an organization or to help solve social problems, such as climate change, should be of equal importance.During my PhD Candidature, I have collaborated with Vestas Wind Systems A/S on using Internet of Things (IOT) data to improve operational decision-making. The results of this collaboration is in the process of being published.
