Responsibility: Lead responsible for all Supply Chain activities (procurement, planning, logistics) on the European continent.Major Projects/Realizations:•Set-up Nitto Turkey, Istanbul (a production daughter of Nitto Europe NV): selection of the location, development of the infrastructure, procurement of equipment, recruitment, administrative preparation and final start-up). Close interaction with all actors locally.•Put under debate all existing procurement activities (raw materials, technical goods, services), reduce the frequency of usage where possible and re-negotiate all running contracts  Cost saving of 10-30%. Results have been maintained after the project due to more strict procedures and evaluations.•Initiate, develop and start-up the mitigation process to reduce the risks of single sourced products, starting on a European level, but extending it, with the help of peers in other regions, to the worldwide activities.•Installation of a Supply & Operations Planning level on top of the short term detailed scheduling activities.  Improved medium/ long term demand/supply balance (includes the introduction of forecasting)
