I became headhunted as a Sales Manager to a Global Group consisting of 3 different companies within injection molding and machining manufacturing. IV Sweden (Lund) where I had my employment, IV Microplast AS (Leksvik, Norway) and IV Techmould (Suzhou, China)IV Sweden is a dedicated sales office where my assignment were to a link between Swedish and European customers and our production sites. IV Microplast, specializes in machining of parts in complex material and injection molding molds for internal production as well as for external costumers.IV Techmould, specializes in injection molding molds for internal production as well as for external costumers. Housing over 400 employees and production on two sites in Suzhou, IV Techmould is a renowned manufacturer of plastic parts for a large span of areas. 2k molding, painting and assembly are some of the company strengths.

During my time as an indoor sales representative of tooling and injection molded plastic parts at Prototal AB in Jönköping Sweden allowed me to get a larger understanding for part design and the manufacturing process of injection molded part. Working alongside smaller independent mechanical designers as well as global actors within automotive, med-tech, manufacturing industry etc. enforced me to be sharp and alert to understand whatever the costumer expected of us as a supplier as well as of me as contact surface.Yearly amount of new tools being produced between those years were roughly 200-250 or around five per week. Prototal being specialized in soft tooling(aluminium) enables the company to have a short manufacturing process as well as keeping the tool investment as low as possible. Soft tools are preferably used for smaller quantities, but can withstand qty up to 100K shots if part design and injection molding material are optimized.
