I've been involved in the maritime industry since age 14 when I joined my first vessel.Spent 7 years in Royal Caribbean where I learned a lot in working with multi national crews and cultural differences. As I'm a person who likes to keep developing my skills, I was involved in several projects, spanning from implementing safety programs on board (duPont) to increasing fuel efficiency in the fleet. Working alot with international organisations such as DNV, MARPOL, IMO and national such as USPH, CDC, EPA, etc. Continued from there onto a small survey/research vessel where I gained experience in sub-sea work involving ROV, ROTV, side scan etc. A position where I was working both on board as Master and ashore, aiding the on shore operation. Moved on to a more international position where I started as new-build inspector in Polarcus, based in Duabi. Having delivered the last vessel I moved to Norway and continued as new-build inspector for two more X-Bow vessels, of which I joined the 2nd vessel as Chief Mate.I have since early 2014 sailed as Master on board one of the most modern Seismic Vessels ever built. My position allows me to develop as leader during daily interaction with crew and various projects being assigned to the vessel. I take an active role in EHSQ work but also in developing and improving the operation on board. Continuous progress is key in this industry.When the industry plunged i set my compass in a northerly direction and started as Pilot in Swedish Maritime Industry. I continue my teaching and engagement in various projects and is currently one of two MRM (CRM) trainers, training all new-hire Pilots in Sweden. Using both simulators for realistic training and classroom lessons where we also review the simulations. Probably the best MRM training you can get as a maritime Pilot.
