The role involved creating and teaching a third year undergraduate course in Development Economics and a second year course Macroeconomics and Finance. In addition to creating a syllabus that would challenge undergraduate students, this information had to be conveyed via 2 hour weekly lectures, and small seminar groups. Creating clear and concise lecture notes as visual aids and solving student queries directly during weekly office hours was an additional part of this teaching.Various administrative tasks were required and strict deadlines adhered too for example creating a module outline with very limited preparation time. Further duties included setting an exam and being responsible for its grading. In addition I voluntarily provided an examiners report to aid internal and external exam moderators. A final aspect of this role was pastoral care, offering undergraduate students advice regarding career choices and offering them supervision and help beyond the subject taught.

This role involves working alongside several top Economists on a DFID-ESRC funded project investigating the role of Politics and Finance on Economic Development.My main duties include handling and building large datasets, empirical modelling, and writing up working papers that in future will be sent to world leading economics journals.

My main role was information driven of via the telephones promoting Marshall's products and resolving any queries. In addition, I provided additional customer support tailored specifically for the client. Other roles included acting as an intermediary between a client and contractors regarding start and end project dates, and solving issues regarding remedial work currently under guarantee. This extended to chasing up certain problems via the telephone with insurance firms. I provided support to the marketing manager in preperation for nationwide exhibitions where Marshall’s products were on display.Furthermore, I solely designed an A3 laminate billboard which has been used by all Marshalls approved contractors to advertise various kerbstone and wall designs when meeting with potential customers.

My role composed of liaising with various insurance brokers and clients via the telephone. The main tasks were to remedy any faults with the company supplied software package.
