Johan has been working as an IT-consultant for about 25 years. He is an expert in Configuration Management (CM), CI/CD and DevOps and he has over 15 years of experience of leading transformations at customers in Agile, CI/CD and DevOps including modern development and deployment tools and modern ways of working with software delivery. He has been working both in the development and operations departments empowering various teams with tools and best practice. The product company Transrail (https://www.transrail.se) delivers the Cato system to its customers in the train sector and in their customer installations there is a server system and one in each locomotive in the train that the driver uses. Johan's assignment is to review how different areas within Configuration Management can be improved. In his role, Johan uses his expertise in version control (Git) and configuration management and code management in different environments for testing and production. In addition to an analysis of the current situation Johan is responsible of the development of a vision and roadmap for future configuration management and system development process of Transrail. Johan also educates the company in modern technologies such as CI / CD and DevOps. The effect of Johan's work will provide better control of version control, fewer bugs in production environments and more efficient system development, as well as increased security in new releases to customers of the Cato system.

Johan helped the product company Bastec (https://www.bastec.se/) which delivers software and hardware. He used his expertise and long experience of Atlassian JIRA for product development and his best practice in agile system development in connection to product owners and the business.Johan's assignment is to help the Development Manager and Product Manager at Bastec in how they can best use Jira for product planning and development work with the help of the JIRA feature Advanced Roadmaps and in general how they can collaborate between business and IT. The work is both hands on and of a coaching nature.

I work as a consultant at Waymark and I usually undertake roles such as Continuous Delivery Consultant, Configuration Manager, Deployment Manager and Build Engineer in my customer assignments. My greatest assets as a consultant are experience in several environments and platforms but also experience on how to get the work done by communicating efficiently with the different parts of the company. I am also engaged as a lecturer at our customers from time to time.

I lead a team (devops support team) of developers, testers and operations folks that tries to create a devops culture and also handles the needed tools to achieve the goals of devops and continuous delivery.

At Arbetsförmedlingen (Swedish Employment Service) I have been responsible for automation of server provisioning, application build and deployment for the external web site and intranet site. The tools and platforms used are Jenkins, Puppet, RHEL, Sitevision, Apache, and Nexus. I have been part of a team working by the Kanban process with production releases, development team support, automation tasks and continuous improvement.I have also been working in a project that targets the IT department to start working with Continuous Delivery for higher quality and faster time to market. I have been working closely with teams, coaching them in Continuous Integration, build-and deployment practices. I have also been responsible for setting up the common delivery platform using Jenkins Enterprise (by CloudBees).

During my assignment at SEB I have been responsible for automating the build and deployment environment and tools. We introduced Continuous Integration and Configuration Management best practices. We have been using, ClearCase, Jenkins, Ant, WebSphere Application Server, Java, JUnit, TestNG, DBMaintain etc. I also had the role Configuration Manager (development) and worked closely to the development teams in several projects.
