Carry out user and access management for all users of the SCADA/DMS system,local and remote. I am also responsible to some extent for the cyber security ofthe SCADA network.Carry out limited DBA (Database Administrator) duties as well as first linemaintenance on the SCADA Oracle data engineering and historical databases.Monitor and maintain the backup solution in order to ensure business continuityin case of disaster.Interface and interact with the SCADA support team situated in Midrand, Gauteng to coordinate and facilitate second line maintenance and patch roll-outs as well as fault reporting to the system vendor (ABB Sweden).
