After joining arcus in 2017 I led the IT Team in upgrading and growing their infrastructure, as well as moving the on-premises Microsoft Exchange service into the Microsoft 365 cloud, managing the growth from +-600 to over 1300 users. Responsibilities include* Managing AD and Azure AD userbase* Creation and administration of on-premises virtualized infrastructure (50+ Linux/Windows based guests on Hyper-V cluster)* Administration and upgrading of LAN and WAN, network of 30+ remote VPN sites* Move to Microsoft 365 services (AzureAD, Endpoint, Defender)

As part of the support team I was responsible for support of all our ISP related activities, such as* Telephony services* Internet access technologies such as Dial-Up, ADSL, VDSL, FO* Webhosting & E-Mail services* DNS Registrar servicesFor the hotspot.lu project I used my System Administration knowledge to create a large network of WiFi access points from scratch. This included design and development, as well as setup and maintenance of the infrastructure at a multitude of locations throughout the country.

As the sole technician and system administrator for the newly created offices I was in charge of planning, setup and maintenance of the Local Area Network. This included * Office cabling and hardware procurement* Setup and maintenance of a long distance PtP WLAN internet access* Setup and maintenance of the LAN* Setup and administration of Linux / Unix based Webservices* Web­based application programming for intranet pages
