Graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and continued my education at the University of South Africa to obtain an Honors degree in Accounting. Admitted as a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2001, CA(SA). Moved to Atlanta, USA in 2000 and joined a medium size Accounting and Auditing firm, GH&I. Qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2003 and joined Rödl & Partner in 2004. Reallocated to Chicago in 2007 to head up the new Rödl & Partner office in Chicago and became an equity partner in Rödl & Partner in 2009.I currently have over 17 years of public accounting experience. Most of my time is spent on external audit engagements in the manufacturing and distribution industries, but also include engagements in the construction, pharmaceutical, retail and technology industries.
