Supporting the Offshore Energy Division by ensuring the projects are adequately staffed and executed.

• The Manager of the Tender Department is responsible for the planning, organization and assurance of quality of the tenders of Boskalis Offshore Installation & Intervention product lines; - Offshore Wind - Decommissioning - Floating Installation - Fixed Installation - Landfalls, pipelines & Multi-disciplinary • 30-35 direct report; Tender Managers, Cost Estimators and Proposal Engineers.• Determine together with the Business Units the priority of the tenders.

• Offered T&I, EPC, EPIC and BoP Tenders for the offshore wind industry • Project Manager/ Deputy Project Director for a FEED contract• Challenge solutions provide by the tender teams and motivate to think out of the box• Manage Tenders with a process-oriented and commercial view• Involved in R&D studies within Boskalis• Sparring partner for internal work procedures• Act as sounding-board for external parties to determine technical/financial soundness of new innovations• Motivate teams to get to the best result for the client in the challenging time frame given (Commercial technical sound solution)• Informal coach for (young) professionals within and outside tender teams and or business unit

Industrial and Power Projects (IPP)EPC Projects• International. Multi discipline, lump sum, turnkey proposals for clients working in the branch of chemicals & petrochemicals, or for clients in the food processing, energy production & distribution, water supply, combustion and gas extraction branches;• Coordinating the entire tender phase, from inquiry to contract negotiation;• Managing and motivating the required internal and external disciplines;• Pivotal role in forming consortia and in capturing of agreements with partners and suppliers;• First point of contact for external customers, management, suppliers and subcontractors; • Writing EMVI plans (Best Value Procurement);• Ensure a thorough transfer to project management and work preparation.
