In the Emerging Business Development Department, we focus on new technologies to increase our product offering. Right now, we are working on industrial indoor location down to mm resolution, screw feeding, 5G connectivity, vision techniques, integration of our product to collaborative robots and i/o-devices. The Low Torque tools, with the brand MicroTorque, are a range of advanced high end handheld and fixtured tools and controllers widely used in the global electronic industry. Example of products produced with these tools are smart phones, tablet PC, hard disk drives, car electronics, medical instruments. All with the common need to tighten super small screws. The R&D team is a truely multi dicipline group with mechanical, electronic, embedded sw, pc sw and lab engineers.

Responsible for development of an industrial controller for nutrunners called Power Focus 2000. I worked with traditional project leading task as well as system- and electronic deisign. Technical marketing was also a part of the work.

Developed electronic HW. The product was electric power tools for tightening screws mainly in the automotive industry. I worked mainly on the controller and related accessories. EMC and safety certification.
