About Johan Westlund

As senior IT architect with experience since 1995 of architecture, design and development, I’m currently the Technical Lead Architect and product owner for an extensive service architecture within the Volvo group. Over the last half decade I have lead the work in migrating and enhancing monolithic applications into architectures based on microservices. I have extensive experience around the whole ecosystem like e.g. Redhat Openshift, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Jaeger, ELK, Grafana, pipelines, DevSecOps to mention some..Many of the initiatives I have been involved with have been global with team members from different sites around the globe. Periodically I’m speaking publicly about subjects close to IT-architecture.
