Development of both front- and back-end of web sites and applications. The key difference of this company compared to my previous employers is the methodology used for projects. A lot of projects are developed using the agile development method Scrum.This means a different view on dead lines and more focus on actually creating what the client wants instead of running to finish whatever is predefined before the deadline and then finding out that the client actually wanted something else.Agile development means working closer with the client in sprints which makes sure the client gets what he wants and knows how much work it actually is.

A lot of diversity in projects but one of the key differences is that I can finally use the latest technologies without some guideline telling me I can't use anything that doesn't work in browsers from the year 2001...I've still worked for government related agencies though, TNO inPreventie was a great project with a lot of front-end work but mostly innovative database design which proved quite challenging.

Development and design of application user interfaces. I was promoted as lead front-end developer and was responsible for the interface of the CMS and it's plug-ins.One of the features I'm most proud of was the creation of a Flow designer inside the CMS. This tool allowed users to create a tree-like flow of questions which eventually leads the visitors to an answer or specific action.I've also developed a default website based on a CSS grid system. This allowed the developers to easily set-up a new website or web application which could easily customised to the clients needs without losing flexibility and quality.

Creation of Technical Designs and Server Architecture Designs and the development of websites. Each client (mostly government agencies) had specific needs but all were based on the same system.Each website had to be validated by the dutch web guidelines which made sure all websites were accessible and usable to any visitor on any device.

One day you were working on a simple guest book for a personal website. The other day you were building a lay-out for brokers who want to display the properties they sell.
