I have been with the Altron Group for 24 years and at Altron Bytes Document Solutions (ABDS) for the past 19 years. I started my career at ABDS as the Financial Director and then moved into the Managing Director position. Altron Bytes Document Solutions is the largest Xerox distributor in the world, which is something I take great pride in - my team, the excellent quality of products and services, and collaboration with our Altron Group.This has enabled me to grow over the last 2 decades in directing and controlling all business operations for an organisation that markets and services the entire range of Xerox document equipment, software solutions and services to 26 sub-Saharan Africa countries. I would describe myself as a strategic thinker and planner, with a keen eye for solving problems and finding a solution to any challenge I am faced with. I am determined and results-driven, and understand that we live in a data-driven, digital era. I have successfully steered the organisation through its transition from a product to a service-led business. I have more than 35 years of financial and operational management experience in the private and public sector, including some time spent lecturing at the University of Johannesburg.I also understand there is far more to life than work, and my greatest achievement is being a loving husband to my wife Ethel, a proud and committed father to two beautiful, intelligent daughters and a doting grandfather to two wonderful grandchildren. I love nothing more than spending time with my family, and have a keen interest in sports and enjoy spending time outdoors.
