De Stichting 40 Mijl organiseert duursport evenementen in verschillende disciplines en ondersteunt onganisaties bij het realiseren van hun projecten. Eigen evenementen zijn o.a. de Lauwersmeer Marathon, Lauwersmeer Kennedymars, Midzomernacht wandeling en SwimRun Nederland. De Stichting 40 Mijl heeft een educatief programma voor het basisonderwijs en ondersteunt met haar activiteiten en kidsrun de Plastic Soup Foundation.

De Stichting Groningen Swim challenge organiseert zwemevenementen ten gunste van het UMCG kanker research fonds. De Swim challenge is een tocht van 33 en 50 km door natuurwater van Zoutkamp naar Groningen, waaraan jaarlijks ca 500 zwemmers deelnemen.

The Medical Team Nederland (MTN) is a organisation founded in 1978 by Dr. ATM Blom. With about 300 volunteering doctors and medical professionals, the MTN is providing first-aid at (sport)events, fairs, shows and concerts in The Netherlands. The MTN has several fully equipped ambulances, mobile polyclinics, quads and a hospital-ship for on water (sailing)events. The MTN is member of the Dutch quality mark for first-aid professionals KMHE.
