2020 till nowIXON keeps growing, and the platform has to grow with it. We look at automatingthe configuration and deployment of servers. Also, I help the Product InnovationTeam with ideas and insights, for both the product and the process. With my R&Dteam, I make sure we can execute the improvements handed to us by the innovationteam so that the customer ends up with a solution that works for them.2020To meet the customer's wishes and to keep the platform scalable, I have rebuildthe existing REST API with my team. The new solution has better access control,which lets the customer manage its own employees, but also its own customers onthe platform.2017-2019To make the platform scalable, we've started with containerization. First on docker, and later on Kubernetes. Also, I have designed and build a frameworkfor logging applications, which lets us add new logging protocols in a more timeand cost efficient way. These changes makes our logging solution more reliabableand scalable.2016-2017Besides the existing VPN solution, IXON wanted a data logging solution. I havedesigned this solution, and extended the client application for the IXON routerfor this as well. I've managed colleagues who extended the REST API based on mydesign. IXON hires a few full time R&D employees, which means that I'm nowbuilding up a team.2015-2016IXON had a single-server application, but wanted a global cloud platform. Mytask was to design this platform. I've build a client application in C++, anda REST API in Python, the latter would become the central point for the newplatform. A few interns helped out with parts of the implementation, and part ofmy job was to manage and direct these.

Designing an in-house modular framework for webapplications, based on the Zend Framework. Also worked on various other projects, among which the development of an management information system for a medium sized company, and the development of a patient management SaaS system.
