I lead the “Mission Support Applications Development & Support” group within the Defence Operations department. The group is responsible for all military mission planning and debrief related activities at NLR. This includes development and maintenance of several Mission Support tools for the Royal Netherlands Air Force, both the fighter and helicopter communities. We have extensive knowledge on procedures and tools for Mission planning and debrief and develop and maintain stand-alone applications as well as extensions and plug-ins for e.g. JMPS, PFPS and PCDS.I'm also involved in supporting the introduction of the F-35 in RNLAF as part of the operational working group and providing expert knowledge in the field of Offboard Mission Support (OMS).Apart from the program management and acquisition related activities that are required to keep the group productive, I am still actively involved in the system design, implementation and maintenance of several of the products the group produces. We take pride in developing state-of-the-art products that our customers value and use in support of their operations on a daily basis. We aim for on time/on budget delivery and will normally solve reported defects in a matter of days.See the "Projects" section for examples of the projects we work on.
