Co-Ordinator Of The Nord-Ic Co-Operation
Stockholm, Sweden
The NORD-IC co-operation was a co-operation between the Nordic CMOs: KODA, NCB, Stim, TEOSTO and TONO. Main efforts were development and maintenance of jointly owned IT systems, but the co-operation also dealt with business related issues such as joint rules for using the systems.During these years the position evolved from being more administrative to becoming a full time job with chairmanship of the NORD-IC Steering Committee and IT Committee as well as full budget responsibility (P/L) as main tasks.Apart from the duties within the Nordic region, tasks included representation of NORD-IC on the international arena, i.e. taking active part in the collaboration with CISAC - The International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies where I became member of the CSB - CIS Supervisory Board. The job meant some rather heavy travel at times. However, the main experience from this job was probably to get to know, and indeed master, the different ways of doing business in the different Nordic countries as well as internationally. It was a great period in my life.
