CurrentDuties & Responsibilities:Group IT management responsibility including team managementEnsure continuous availability of IT resourcesPlan and coordinate IT system improvements, capacity increases, disaster recovery systems, and provide expert support when necessaryEstablish, implement and maintain network security for the GroupOversee the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructureManage and develop upgrades to the company's telephone system.Oversee all telephone changes, including routing for seating assignments.Interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issuesBuild and maintain vendor relationshipsEnsure that company assets are maintained responsiblySupport special project initiativesAnticipate resource requirements to fulfill operational plans.Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.Streamline printers and telephony system on site as well as cellular devices.Work with various groups in the testing, deployment, and support of computing, network and storage infrastructure.Consult with administration and department managers to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.Ensure that service provided meets or exceeds expected standards.Manage the monitor and control usage where needed e.g. Facebook, Social media sitesDevelop and maintain the procedures and forms for routine maintenance, checks, backupsEnsure after hour service, business continuityContribute to company goals and learning via e.g. Auditing, Seminars, Training, Workshop Participation, Mentoring, Advising, ResearchVendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.
