As manager at Volvo Car Retail Solutions, I am responsible for five Systems/Products. This includes Product Owners and DevOps-units where all teams are fullstack and as autonomous as possible. My job includes staffing and HR related activities, employer branding and driving organizational change, recently with focus on an agile transformation with DevOps in mind. I am responsible for defining and ensuring process improvements in the short and long terms, as well as budgeting.The group consists of 35+ developers with a range of skills related to all the know-how needed to uphold fully operational DevOps units. The technology stack is focused on Microsoft and cloud based operation in Azure. But we also use open source platforms, like Kubernetes for container orchestration and automating our microservices deployment and RabbitMQ as message broker.

As Product manager for the Business Intelligence (BI) group I am responsible for transforming our customers’ needs into viable solutions as well as being responsible for the product planning. This includes: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with BI developers, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. I am also responsible for ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. I am defining the product strategy and roadmap, running pilot programs with early-stage products and acting an expert with respect to the competition.
