SKF Business Consulting is a global management consulting practice within the SKF group. We support the units within SKF to become more profitable by addressing opportunities and challenges arising from market developments, technology shifts and efficiency demands.I am responsible to drive large change initiatives within operations.

• Manager of Supply chain, Business development and Purchasing and part of the management team in Gothenburg factory, SKF Sweden.• I was manager of totally 50 people with 5 direct reports• The responsibility included the overall material purchasing, sourcing and production planning including logistics and stock management as well as business development and factory inside sales for our product portfolio. Annual turnaround of 4 000 MSEK

• I was responsible to merge four operations in Gothenburg, three factories and one maintenance department, into one organization, the Gothenburg Factory with more than 1100 employees. This included setting the organization as well as aligning culture, processes and management systems. • I was the project manager for implementing the structural change and thus a part of the new management team of the factory.

Strategic business development is global head quarter function with the responsibility to develop, drive and implement the company strategy. • I was part of the management team for Business area Strip, between 2010 and 2012 with the role to run a large change initiative to improve the profitability. This included all aspects of the business operations.• I integrated an acquired business area, Sandvik Medtech (producing medical implants) consisting of two manufacturing units with sales organizations into the Sandvik Group. Culture, processes as well as quality and management control systems were key areas to align with the group standard.

Responsible for sales development in France, Benelux and USA. This included evaluating and improving our customer portfolio, enabling customer acquisition and also to develop and implement standardized tools and new ways of working throughout the whole global value chain

Responsible for the product portfolio of spring wire. This included business development, pricing and global marketing of the product as well as new product introduction. It also involved supporting the sales organization in customer negotiations as well as being the link between the markets an R&D.
