Having moved from the public to private sector I now enjoy a role in Estate Agency. Delivering excellent customer service remains the focus of my work and in a relatively short period I feel I have adapted well to the challenges in the property sales arena. Nothing is more rewarding in the work environment than achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and in a field where a customer's biggest financial asset is the focus it is paramount that excellent service is delivered at every stage. My previous role at Stockport Council included - client manager for street cleansing, highways grounds maintenance, gully cleansing, CCTV and managing a team of officers who liaise with customers on matters of local environmental quality, highway defects and measuring performance against Service Level Contracts.I believe this role has equipped me with skills in customer liaison, problem solving, partnership working, negotiating, efficiency and performance management. Balancing the needs of the customer and the organisational vision is often challenging but rewarding too.My remit has evolved over time and in the last few years I have gained knowledge in a wide variety of areas, from environmental enforcement to reactive highways repairs to CCTV. I believe I am able to adapt to new challenges well, with an attention to detail that enables me to understand new areas thoroughly and to improve service delivery.
