Responsible for restaurant concepts and service design, sales, quality and on board digitalization.Training and development of service personnel on board. Responsible for networking and PR with stakeholders. Supports the HR department with all staffing-related tasks: staffing and scheduling of the ship's service personnel in accordance with their duties, the SMS procedures and valid collective agreement, monitoring of the agreements and negotiations concerning the department's remit including collective agreements. Control of the requirements of the regulations on working hours, qualifications and certifications.Member of the company's preparedness group.

As the Product Manager for flagship M/S Viking Grace my responsibilities were to ensure that the communication between the on board and on land organizations run smoothly and according to plans. Service design planning and developing the product on board by creating attractive events and special theme cruises to reach out to new customers and planning the communication together with the marketing team. Creating a story around the ship and the process of shipbuilding resulted in the "Design Walk" one of the most successful new events on board M/S Viking Grace.Together with the Taxfree department we also managed to attract one of the world's most famous brands to Finland by opening the first Victoria's Secret store on board a cruise ship (M/S Viking Grace).

M/S Viking Grace

Responsible for entertainment and customer experience on board with crews up to 150 persons in-house: entertainers, croupiers, kid's entertainers and av-technicians. Responsibilities include human resource management of on board staff as well as supervision and organizing of several artistic groups performing on the ships. A Cruise Manager continuously develops the services, customer experience and entertainment on board the ship both with internal and external organizations.

Turku Shipyard

My responsibilities of the NB1376- project were the concept and service design together with customer experience focusing on the best entertainment and customer service on the greenest passenger ferry of the world. Communicating the shipbuilding process together with the marketing department resulted in a a blog about the project and daily work at the shipyard. Together with Flatlight Films (Monami Agency), Fellowland and Buena we planned and created the content for the webpage www.vikinggrace.com. This fantastic collaboration resulted in several prizes in digital marketing and digital design in both 2013 and 2014.The webpage won first prize for best digital marketing communication and best digital design in "Vuoden Kultahuiput" by Grafia: http://bit.ly/1oondtDThe launch of M/S Viking Grace won the prestigious marketing prize "2013 Best Marketing Action":http://bit.ly/1jWxiw2

Ibiza, Mallorca

As an entertainer my job was organizing events to guests all ages and nationalities. I also worked on stage hosting different events. As head of the entertainment department I was responsible for all entertainment both bought and in-house. Hotel Sol S'Argamassa in Ibiza is a seasonal hotel open from April to October and planning the opening and closing for the season was a part of the managerial position responsibilities.
