From an early age, I was fascinated by music production. I started creating beats and later on learned the art of mixing records on a computer and also during live sessions. As a freelance audio engineer, I worked in recording studios and mixed bands performing on stage. During my studies in audiovisual media technology, I was then captivated by the idea of creating digital audio products, including a drum computer and a distributed mixing system. Driving my passion for music and software further I put together a team and co-founded aptone — an AI & cloud based sample management platform which was later acquired by Cyanite. Now I contribute with my expertise in product management and software development to build solutions for music professionals who pioneer how we search and discover sound.
