Since September 2014 I am working self-employed as a communications consultant with a specialization in social marketing, branding & PR. spitzar is an Austrian-based strategy and communications agency with a broad field of activities across multiple business sectors and a strong international focus. As consultant in the tourism unit of the agency, my field of responsibility lies the conception, organization and advancement of various strategic communication projects for tourism clients such as hotels, destinations and organizations. Hereby I work as an essential link between client, project management and creative realization. The projects range from strategy development in terms of positioning, branding and theming to diverse online and offline communication solutions.

Santa Cruz Snowboards is an international manufacturer of premium snowboards and snowboard bindings and belongs to NHS Inc, located in Santa Cruz, California.My tasks as online communications manager lied in the online content creation and distribution over the company's website and social media channels. Additionally I was also responsible for the website and social media development, snowboard team management and sponsorship agreements. This position enabled me not only to deepen my understanding of the action sports industry, but also to further advance my knowledge about online marketing, social media trends and web development.

Young Mountain Marketing is an action sports marketing agency located in Graz, Austria that focuses on the development and expansion of freestyle wintersports by operating more than 30 terrain parks across the European Alps under the two brands 'QParks' and 'Funslopes'.I started my time at YMM working as an intern in the editorial department, where I was responsible for the press release creation and distribution, content-related web support and media planning. After 6 months I got promoted to full-time employee in the marketing unit and was from thereon solely responsible for all communication activity of four terrain park projects, what further included media cooperation planning and execution, film & photo shooting organizations, advertising and sponsorship agreements as well as national and international PR campaigning.
