Slowly phasing parts of my role over to more dedicated roles ex. in 2018 we recruited a VP People and Culture to take over the recruitment and staff responsibilities. Due to the lack of a COO in the Detectify organisation, a lot of tasks that are commonly handled by such has been my responsibility.Main focus has however been to manage the Product & Tech organisation, in the same way scaling it up from 1 team until the latest organisation transformation during 2020. At this point of time we were 4 cross-functional teams, 2 Engineering teams and 2 Product teams. During spring 2020 Detectify decided to split this role up into VP Engineering and CPO, where I stayed on as CPO. However, I kept the CIO role until spring 2021 due to lack of ownership of responsibilities still assigned to that role, such as ISO27001 management.
