I'm an engineer who knows road transport, traffic and safety. I have also enjoyed working on computers since the 1980s, and aspired to become an automotive engineer when I was in school. My current focus is on vehicle technologies that have the potential to improve road trauma outcomes. This includes Driver Assistance (ADAS) features which are paving the way for increasing (SAE) levels of automation. The path to Level 3, 4 and 5 automation represents significant opportunities to measure, understand and shape driving itself, and I am keen to contribute my skills and knowledge. I am the principal consultant at Traffic Vehicles & Logistics Pty Ltd (TVL), which was founded in 2013 with the goal of building systems to improve road transport and integrate technological change. Back then, we could see how emerging technologies would rapidly alter the road transport landscape.Since then, we have contributed to projects from diverse industries in a myriad of ways, from project management for government authorities, to management of ICT and innovations for a multinational public transport operator, to auditing self-illuminating signage and light displays on road infrastructure.
Listed skills include Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Road Safety, Traffic Management, and 28 others.
