Jens is a "Building Doctor." In 2007 he started an engineering, architecture, and design firm called J2 Building Consultants that specializes in helping stressed building owners and homeowners associations navigate the process of diagnosing damage, prescribing repair plans, and treating the building envelope of multifamily and commercial buildings. Jens started his career in the construction field and quickly noticed contractors who cut corners, causing brand new buildings to fail due to construction defect. Since then, he has recruited a team in three states who share in the concern over low bidding contractors with poor quality workmanship. J2 exists to protect the safety of our clients and support you in your journey to a healthy building.If litigation is necessary, Jens has experience providing expert witness testimony in both State and Federal court with respect to construction techniques, remediation costs, property maintenance, water intrusion damage, real estate transaction issues, property loss assessments, and other expert witness opinions.
