I had two lines of reporting, company profile and presentations to the Corporate Funding Manager; mining production and safety activities to the Senior Mining Engineer.Scope of work:Conducted inspections on mine sites for safety purposes, identifying any technical misconducts and transgressions from the original procedures.Acquired exposure to Indonesian mining decrees and statutes which comes in convenient to serve as the appropriate baseline for exploration and mineral ownership. Conflict resolution skills were also developed as confrontation with the local leaders had become a daily routine on site.Assisted in both field and office tasks such as gathering and documenting geologic data required by the project staff.Performed quality and error checking before documenting the data files into the database and recommended alternative solutions to be taken when error is found.Used basic graphics software to draft figures and diagrams for various company presentations.
