At the time I was asked to relocate from Stena in Malmö to Halmstad, the site there was invested in heavily and staff needed to grow close to 50%. My role was twofold:1 – Managing site services and environmental permitsThis included maintenance, administration, weighing, facility management and also developing the relations with the borough, suppliers and neighbours.The site covers 600 000 m2.2 – responsible for P&L of the shredding plant (250 000 yearly tonnes) and non-ferrous plant (100 000 tonnes) with a turnover in excess of 1 000 M SEK.This included developing and maintaining a high level of safety, cost control, efficiency and commitment among staff. -
