The Hacktown Academy is a Public School of Programming in Games and Robotics, endorsed by the Brazilian Computer Society, dedicated to providing accessibility and disseminating knowledge of new technologies to children and young people from low-income backgrounds.Responsibilities:I taught Programming and Robotics classes for children aged 10 to 12, utilizing Gamification and Storytelling as teaching methodologies for Portugol, C Language, LEGO, and Arduino. These approaches not only made the classes engaging but also stimulated the interest and learning of the students.Results:I had the privilege of directly impacting the education of more than 30 children, witnessing a remarkable progress in their skills and understanding of the subjects.I contributed to the book 'Perspectives on Hacktown Academy' by writing Chapter 10, where I share my experience as an educator in the project, highlighting the challenges overcome and the achievements attained.
