Responsibilities: • Content (substantive) editing, copy editing and proofing documents. Content creation.• Developed briefs, assigned and supervised content created by 12 writers with consideration for different readers and variations in tone. • Assigned editing tasks to two part-time editorial assistants. • Trained new and existing writers followed by ongoing mentoring to develop writing and proofing skills.• Developed two new editorial assistants from within the team of writers.• Editorial documents included: blog posts, social media posts, educational seminar invites, seminar training manuals, eNewsletters (practitioner & consumer), webinar slides, pharmacy magazine articles, product technical data sheets, executive summaries, media responses, practitioner clinical guides, patient booklets, infographics, reference lists, citations, Metagenics Update magazine and other miscellaneous items. • Copy editing & content creation for product manuals, flyers, website copy, advertorials, and other marketing materials requiring adherence to regulatory guidelines.• Involved in developing the content planning calendar based upon the marketing team focus for each quarter and future seminar topics.• Liaised with marketing, research & development, design studio, technical and regulatory affairs teams as required.Achievements:• More than 99% consistency with meeting deadlines in a high volume role.• Developed and implemented a company-wide Style Guide (Vancouver Style).• Implemented a checklist for writer submissions to improve article quality.• Planned and rolled out a weekly blog for the Metagenics ANZ website.• Planned and rolled out a monthly wellness newsletter for company staff.• Developed and implemented a content creation project timeline to allow for increased writing and editing time and improve deadline adherence. • Blog contributor and key opinion leader article creation for Metagenics Update magazine (printed bi-monthly).

Editorial responsibilities included article creation for e-newsletters and a bi-monthly case study contribution to the Metagenics Update magazine (print), fact checking, copy editing and proofing final documents, and content creation for miscellaneous projects.
