I am a member of the remote sensing group at McKim & Creed Inc, working with aerial lidar data, UAS structure from motion, and orthophoto production. Lidar duties include calibrating aerial lidar, producing multiple terrain products from LAS data, managing multiple forms of GIS data, and managing projects from calibrating raw lidar data to product delivery. UAS duties include the aerial triangulation of photos, dense point cloud creation, and orthomosaic creation to generate data products. Orthophoto duties include pre-processing raw images, aerial triangulation, generating and editing seamlines, and final editing for client delivery. My past research interests were focused on using aerial photographs, Digital Elevation Models, and ground-based oblique photography to quantify the change of glacial surface areas and volumes. Then find what mechanisms are driving the perceived change to understand how future trends could affect glacier mass changes in the future. This research and work experience has driven me to gain experience with different software packages and fieldwork techniques. This included working with lidar data, photogrammetry, ArcGIS, running special analysis, and creating multiple databases. I was also responsible for leading field teams, sometimes on overnight trips, to collect scientific data which included GPS data, in difficult wilderness terrain. Along with these technical skills, my past experiences have given me the ability to work independently and in coordinated groups, to analyze and write reports, to make appropriate professional queries, and to meet deadlines.
Listed skills include Arcgis, Field Work, Data Analysis, Lidar, and 23 others.
