Thousands of collectors throughout the world own a piece of art created by Southern California artist John A. Conroy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Conroy has been employed as a graphic designer by various firms such as the Miami Herald, Village Mews, Camp Beverly Hills and a host of many other independent projects. He started his own independent design firm in Venice Beach, CA in the mid 90’s and has been a self employed Artist since then. He has won various awards for his art from art festivals and competitions throughout the United States (best in category @ California Strawberry Festival, Oxnard, CA, Indian Wells Art Festival, Ca., Tapestry In Talent, San Jose, Ca., Southwest Arts Festival, Indio, Ca., Fiesta De Las Artes, Hermosa Beach, Ca., and many more). Conroy’s designs have also been used by Paramount, CBS, ABC, NBC and Universal Studios (from the “Bob Newhart Show” to “Melrose Place” among others). A member of the American Craft Council, Conroy has been married 36 incredible years to actress Clay Bravo and has a 21 year old son, Madison Richard, whose fields of study are music mixing and cinematography.
