In his mid-twenties, John Abrams has over 15 years experience in the entertainment business, and has worked in four different continents worldwide. He balances a music career with his studies as a Chancellor’s Scholar at Queen’s University. In 2011, Cashbox Magazine said “If John Abrams is a typical 20-year-old Canadian youth then our country is in for a bright future.” In his spare time he is a film director, writer, record producer and professional public speaker. He currently resides in Kingston, Ontario with his wife Alexandra.John and James, The Abrams, are the fourth generation of professional musicians in their family and have been touring for over a decade. The Abrams come from a strong tradition of Bluegrass and Americana music, and have since created a signature sound that brings Country, Rock and Pop all together in one place.Having already performed at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry by the age of 12 and 15, The Abrams have gone on to international success, performing for devoted audiences in Canada, the United States, the UK, Europe and Israel and sharing the stage with artists such as Feist, The Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, and Tom Cochrane.As recipients of the Daniel Pearl Memorial Violin, The Abrams were recognized as international ambassadors for peace by the Daniel Pearl Foundation in New York City. In 2012 they were named Best New Artist at the Canadian Country Music Awards. They have been a mainstay on CMT Pure in the United States with their music video for “Northern Redemption,” are played regularly on BBC Radio 2, CBC and NPR and have charted in the top 100 on Canadian Country and Alternative Rock Radio.The Abrams are currently working on their 5th studio album with Juno award winning and Grammy nominated producer Gavin Brown, who helped launch the careers of Three Days Grace, and Billy Talent, and has produced records for Lady Gaga, The Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, and Metric.

Daily management of employees and contractors, also working regularly with record executives, publicists, radio trackers, legal counsel, agents, producers, branding and visual artists, and other personnel in The Abrams' immediate affiliates and upcoming ventures. Face to face experience networking with new and ongoing business partnerships, whether during a tour or simply for the purpose of negotiating contracts, in Canada, The United States, The United Kingdom, Israel, Continental Europe, and Australia.
