Develop, manage operations, strategic planning and objectives consistent with organizational goals and metrics for outpatient pharmacies in a hospital chain consisting of 45 hospitals in 14 states. In this role, I design, develop, implement, and maintain all aspects of our pharmacies, policies and procedures to maximize gross profit and sales, supporting pharmacy activities, and expanding our healthcare services. Serve as a project manager for audits and compliance in all pharmacies along with establishing relationships and acting as an expert reference for affiliates. Responsible for monitoring changes in regulatory, state, and board of pharmacy requirements and designing changes to the pharmacies within Prime Healthcare as necessary along with education and development of pharmacy stakeholders. Manage budgets for pharmacy staff and inventory. Establish communication with physicians and implement improvements as necessary. In addition to these responsibilities, the position is also responsible for 340B Contract Pharmacies, Specialty Pharmacy, and participates in the Prime PBM.

Develop, organize, and direct operations and growth of the Pharmacy Division by supporting and driving execution of all corporate initiatives to maximize revenues and profitability. Worked with field teams to implement initiatives, including immunizations, MTM training, smoking cessation, diabetes management, regulatory compliance, specialty pharmacy, and acquisition planning.

Managed 30+ store units throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, Bakersfield, and Palm Springs. Led the pharmacy teams in these markets to effectively execute company policies, procedures and programs to build customer loyalty and maximize potential sales, script growth, margins and profitability. Collaborated with pharmacy schools to recruit pharmacy interns and develop top talents in the marketplace.
